COMMON FOUNDATION PROBLEMS

Under Slab Plumbing Break Repair

A faulty foundation can break your underground pipes. To repair these leaks, you need special equipment and techniques to pinpoint the location of the needed repairs. We can locate, access, and repair the leaks to provide you with years of stability

Pier & Beam Repair

As foundation ages, piers under a structure crack from the weight of the building they support. Most piers are original or have been replaced with concrete and have no rebar. Restoring the damage with the right type of replacement pier is key to a stable foundation.

Concrete Slab Repair

The weight of a structure can slowly push the structure further into the ground. With enough time, the structure will settle enough to cause the foundation to be compromised. Our experts can come up with a plan of repair and raise the structure as close to its original location as possible.

IS YOUR
FOUNDATION  FAILING?

Foundation and concrete problems are common in South Texas due to the types of soil and extremely dry seasons. The key is to identify the damage before it becomes too advanced and costly. After all, your home’s foundation is arguably its most important component. Thankfully, most foundation problems can be repaired using the latest technology and techniques. In fact, in many cases, your home’s foundation can be stabilized permanently, so you can restore its value along with your own peace of mind.

If you are selling your home and need foundation repair, often times we can get funded at closing!

WHAT OUR
CUSTOMERS SAY

FOUNDATION
REPAIR FAQ

How long does the repair process take?

No 2 homes are alike, so your repair timeframe may vary based on the scope of work. However, most foundation repair projects take roughly 7 days.

How much does foundation repair cost?

Foundation repair is not one-size fits all. Every home is different, every repair is different. Pricing is dependent on the repair option you choose, and the extent of foundation issues on your home.

What are some signs of foundation issues?

Signs of home foundation issues include visible cracks in the foundation, interior wall cracks, uneven or sloping floors, sticking doors and windows, gaps around doors and windows, exterior brickwork or siding cracks, bowing or leaning walls. If you observe any of these signs, it's advisable to seek professional inspection and assessment to address potential foundation problems.

Does homeowner’s insurance cover foundation repairs?

Some homeowner’s policies may cover foundation damage if the damage is caused by a covered incident. However, with most foundation issues being caused by soil conditions, poor drainage, or inferior construction, your policy may not be very helpful.

The only way to be sure of your coverage is to check your specific policy and speak with your agent.

Are steel piers really that much better?

How It Works

OUR
PROCESS

1.

Soil must be removed from the areas where piers will be placed. We use a clean process that doesn't require us to dig messy deep holes inside of your home. All of the soil we remove is simply placed into plastic bags to prevent any mess.

2.

The piers will strategically be inserted deep into the earth with a special type of hydraulic pump. This equipment uses the weight of the home to press the piers into the soil until they meet bedrock (or 10,000 psi of resistance).

3.

Once the point of resistance is reached and the piers can no longer be pushed into the soil, the hydraulic equipment is removed and each hole has a manual jack placed into it. The team will now raise the home in unison until the slab is back to where it needs to be.
